US President Donald Trump has officially announced the start of the 2020 presidential campaign.

He stated this while opening a rally of thousands of his supporters in Orlando, Florida, writes BBC.

Trump urged his supporters to “keep this team in place” for another four years.

“We will continue to make America big and great, but then we will obviously keep America great. That is why I stand before you tonight to officially launch my campaign for the presidency,” Trump said.

“Our radical Democratic opponents are obsessed with hatred. They want to destroy us, they want to destroy our country as we know it. This is unacceptable, this will not happen,” he added.

On no issue are Democrats more extreme – and more depraved – than when it comes to Border Security. The Democrat Agenda of open borders is morally reprehensible. It is the great betrayal of the American Middle Class and our Country as a whole! #Trump2020 pic.twitter.com/f9RJhpp50J

Along with the president at the rally were First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, administration officials and senators from Florida.

“Jobs are back, self-confidence is back, and, thanks to the leadership of President Donald Trump, America is back. We’re just getting started,” Pence said during his speech.

Recall that on April 25, Joe Biden announced his intention to run for president from the Democratic Party in the 2020 elections.

The next presidential election in the United States will take place on November 3, 2020 and will be the 59th election in the history of the United States.
